These terms govern your use of Ablumia Paint (the “App”), a drawing application for desktop computers, provided by Ablumia (“we”, “us”). By using the App, you agree to these terms.

1. License

When you buy the App, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the App, tied to the email address you used to buy it. The license includes:

• use of the App on up to 3 computers at a time; you can remove a computer from your license and add another one;
• all updates we release in the future, for as long as we distribute the App.

The App signs in with your email and a one-time code. It works offline, but it must connect to our server at least once every 30 days to renew the license on that computer.

You may use the App for personal and commercial work. Artwork you create with the App belongs to you.

You may not resell, sublicense or share your license, or try to bypass the license check, reverse engineer the App beyond what the law allows, or redistribute the App.

2. Free trial

When you first sign in to the App with an email address that has no license, you get a free trial of the full App, under the same terms as a license, except that it is free and may end. While the App is in early access, the trial has no time limit. When the trial ends, the App becomes read-only: you can open and view your projects and export them, but not edit them; your files stay on your computer.

3. Updates and availability

We may change, improve or remove features of the App in updates. The App updates itself automatically. We aim to keep the license server available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

4. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Keep backups of your work: we are not responsible for lost data.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

6. Termination

We may end your license if you materially break these terms. You can stop using the App at any time.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page; changes do not take away a license you already bought.
