Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Ablumia Paint (the website ablumia.com and the App) collects and why. The controller is Ivan Tyagun, individual entrepreneur (FOP), Ukraine. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Email address — to identify your account, send sign-in codes, and link your license or free trial to you. If you subscribe to updates, we keep your email to tell you news about the app; to unsubscribe, write to [email protected].
- Devices — for each computer where you sign in: a device ID created by the App, the computer name and operating system, and when it last connected. We need this to enforce the 3-computer limit and to let you remove a computer.
- Computer ID — a one-way hash of your computer's system identifier, calculated by the App; the identifier itself is never sent. We use it to give one free trial per computer, and it may also serve as the device ID.
- Days of use — during a free trial, the dates on which the App was opened, to count the days of the trial.
- Technical data — IP addresses and request logs on our server, used to prevent abuse (rate limits) and fix problems.
- Website statistics — which pages are viewed, the website you came from (domain only), campaign tags in the link (utm), your country, device type and operating system. We count unique visitors with a daily-changing anonymous hash and do not store IP addresses for this; visits cannot be linked across days. These statistics use no cookies.
- Google Analytics — only if you accept cookies on the website: pages viewed, how you got here, approximate location, device and browser, collected by Google with cookies. Without your consent Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only anonymous signals without identifiers. Advertising features are off.
- Support emails — messages you send to [email protected].
Your drawings and files stay on your computer. The App does not send your work, usage analytics or tracking data to us. It sends only what you choose to publish on the Marketplace and, if you allow it, error reports and performance summaries (both below).
Error reports and performance summaries
The App can send us a report when something goes wrong, and a summary of how fast it draws. This happens only with your consent: the setting Send error reports and performance summaries (in Settings and in the first-run setup) is off by default. With it off, nothing is sent unless you press Send yourself on a report the App shows you first, exactly as it will be sent.
- Error report — the kind of error, its message and stack trace (where in the App's code it happened), the App version, operating system and its version, processor architecture, graphics card model, interface language and the time.
- Performance summary — numbers from a performance recording: frame times (median, 95th percentile, maximum), the number of slow frames and long tasks, memory use, the size of the view, the number of layers and tiles, the graphics card, App version and operating system.
- Install ID — a random identifier created by the App for these reports only. It is not linked to your account, your email, your license, the device ID or the computer ID above.
Reports never contain your drawings or any other content, the names of your projects, canvases or layers, text you typed, file paths or file names (the App replaces them before sending), your email address or your license key. We do not store the IP address with a report.
We use reports only to find and fix problems. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by turning the setting off; reports not yet sent are then discarded. Reports are kept for 90 days and then deleted.
Marketplace
If you use the Marketplace inside the App (see the Marketplace Terms), we also process:
- Nickname — the public name you choose before your first upload. It is shown to everyone with what you publish. Your email address is never shown to other users.
- Published files — the packages you upload (the assets, their preview, name, description, tags and license) and their versions, linked to your account. Published items are public. Items you withdraw or that we remove stay on our server, so that we can handle reports and restore them on request.
- Downloads — when you install an item, we record which account downloaded which item, so that each account is counted once. Other users see only the total count.
- Reports — when you report an item, we store which account sent the report, the item, and the text you wrote. The author is not told who reported their item.
We process this data to run the Marketplace for you (performance of a contract) and to keep it safe and lawful (legitimate interest). It is kept while your account exists, or until you ask us to delete it.
Cookies
Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, kept up to 2 years) are set only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. Your choice is remembered in your browser (local storage). You can change it at any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of every page; declining removes the Google Analytics cookies. We use no advertising cookies.
Who processes data for us
- Brevo — delivers our emails (sign-in codes, updates).
- Google — Google Analytics (website statistics, only with your consent) under its privacy policy; data may be processed outside your country.
- Cloudflare — delivers the website and routes emails sent to [email protected].
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Legal basis and retention
We process this data to provide your license or free trial (performance of a contract) and to keep the service secure (legitimate interest). Google Analytics runs on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Account and license records are kept while your account exists. Sign-in codes are deleted shortly after they expire. Server logs are kept for a limited time. Website statistics are kept for up to two years.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data by writing to [email protected] from the email address of your account. Deleting your account ends the license. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We will update this page if this policy changes.
